Our History
Newark Palace WI were formed in March of 1993. We are a small but very friendly group having under 20 members. We are one of the few WIs in Nottinghamshire that meet during the daytime.
We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 10.15am - 12.15pm except in June when we meet at 11am to 1pm. You can see what events and activities we get up to on our current Programme page
In Nottinghamshire most WIs belong to a selection of nearby WIs known as their Group. We belong to the Newark Castle Group which consist of:-
Dorewood WI
Farndon WI
Hawton & District WI
Newark Bridge WI
Newark Fountain WI
Newark Palace WI
Together with the 117 other WIs in Nottinghamshire we belong to the Nottinghamshire Federation of WIs which is run out of County House, Newark - so we are close to the location where many of the Federation events are run.

How To Find Us
We meet in the Knight's Court Community Room on Balderton Gate.
You'll find us in the Community Room on the first Thursday of the month starting at 10:15am.
